REC Lunches with Machers: WeHo Hotel Project Tour with Jason Illoulian (YALA)

On Wednesday, April 15th, join your fellow YALA REC young professionals for a tour led by Jason Illoulian, who will show us two of his new projects in West Hollywood. Jason is the founder of Faring Capital, a full service real estate investment and development firm focused on building high-end commercial and residential projects throughout Los Angeles. As long-term property owners, Faring Capital builds pedestrian-oriented lifestyle projects in urban infill locations. As Managing Partner, Jason Illoulian guides projects from the acquisition stage through entitlement, construction, and leasing. Currently, Faring is developing 2 million square feet, consisting of over 1,000 multifamily units, 4 hotels, 2,500 parking spaces, and 250,000 square feet of retail. As a West LA native, he attended elementary school in West Hollywood at the Center for Early Education and high school at Harvard Westlake.

Jason graduated with a BSFS in International Economics and Chinese from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. He also holds an MDesS in Real Estate and Urban Development from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and a JD from the Emory University School of Law. Jason was appointed by the Mayor to the West Hollywood Eastside Project Advisory Commission and has served as a board member on the West Hollywood Library Fund. He currently serves as a board member of the West Hollywood Design District and is a gold sponsor of the West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation. Jason is an active member of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and was recently asked to be a board member of Visit West Hollywood.

Cost: $18 for Chai Society Members making a minimum gift of $180 to the community through the 2015 Annual Campaign before the event; vegan lunch will be served.
