David Maldonado’s “Noche de Pasion” – 100 Years of the Spanish Guitar

Take a musical journey to Spain, Morocco, Egypt and beyond with guitar maestro David Maldonado and dancers Linda Cevallos (Dancing with the Stars), Cristina Hall and Katie Miller. A student of Los Romeros the late Celedonio Romero and his sons Celin and Pepe, often called the Royal Family of the Guitar — Maldonado performs Spanish guitar music spanning 100 years, including many difficult styles such as rasqueado. Featuring everything from a string quartet to a full band, the evening encompasses classical, flamenco and modern sounds.
