Welcome Back Weekend and Open House!
Join us with your family,
get together with your havurah
and bring a friend for an activity packed weekend to welcome you back. -Friday September 9, 6:45pm: “Say Shalom” our monthly complimentary wine reception before Shabbat services hosted by the TEC Board, clergy and staff to mingle and get to know you.
-Saturday September 10, 5pm: “Hike and Havdallah” at Wildwood Park. Pack a pareve or dairy dinner* and join us for an easy trail hike followed by an inspiring Havdallah Service. Meet at Wildwood Park: 928 W. Avenida de los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, Ca 91360. *Don’t forget to bring water.
-Sunday September 11, 10am: Sunday Brunch Speaker Series “Kaballah: Moses de Leon to Madonna” by Dr. Jody Myers, the first Speaker Series Brunch of the Season hosted by Men’s Club and Open to the Community, Dr. Myers will lead a discussion on how Kaballah has become part of our popular culture. (Admission $10, Men’s Club Members $8-Prospective New Members Complimentary)
