Last week, The Federation concluded its 8th Annual Festival of Lights Toy and Book Drive. In collaboration with over 25 partner organizations and hundreds of generous individuals, we collected and distributed over 2,500 toys and books! Working together as a community, we made the holiday season brighter for so many wonderful children and their families. The success of this drive is due to the help of all of the organizations and individuals involved, and we could not have done it without everyone doing their part.
This toy and book drive is a program of The Federation’s Community Engagement Strategic Initiative, which mobilizes the Los Angeles Jewish community to pursue an inclusive society that reflects the best of American and Jewish values, a strong Jewish future, and a safe and vibrant Israel.
