Civic Leader Missions to Israel

We take the leaders of Los Angeles to Israel:

For more than twenty years, we have hosted study visits to Israel for elected officials and key community leaders. These trips offer an exceptional opportunity to educate our participants about Israel’s unique attributes and challenges, and to see first-hand how its government, private and non-profit sectors respond creatively and proactively.

On these trips, we share the rich histories of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, tour the State, and expose participants to issues that impact their work on a regular basis. They learn about the many similarities between Israel and California, such as a large agricultural base, challenges surrounding water use and supply, centers of technological development, and the varied immigrant communities. Past trips have included political briefings with Israeli government officials, meetings with entrepreneurial figures in cutting edge technologies, and discussions with leading social service providers.

This is just one of the many ways in which we are reaching out to those in our community to create relationships with Israel and build a better Los Angeles.
