Kid’s Corner: Showing Thanks Through Art

With Thanksgiving soon approaching, we challenged students to reflect on the things they are thankful for this holiday season. Their answers, as expected, were just as imaginative and heartfelt as the picture books they flip through. From thanks for “family” to “pizza,” we present to you this slideshow that showcases the beautiful artwork of your LAUSD students. Be on the lookout for a couple intricate hand turkeys, including a drawing from one of our own KOREH L.A. volunteers. Scroll through and “hide captions” if you would like to see the artwork more clearly.

(Note: Student names have been changed to protect their identities)
