THREE MINUTES: A LENGTHENING explores the human stories hidden within the celluloid. Based on 3 minutes of found footage from 1938 Poland that was restored and archived at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. It was viewed online by the Chandler family in Detroit who identified their grandfather, Maurice Chandler, in the footage, as a 13-year old boy. Today, Maurice, one of only 100 of the 3000 Jews of Nasielsk to survive the war, is 97 years old. Please note: There is no graphic content and no on-screen violence in the film.
