Scissors, Paper and Glue art exhibit

An Exhibition for the Academy of Jewish Religion California.  This exhibition is all about collage.  Collage is the art of taking images and design elements from the everyday to the exotic, and putting them together to make new meanings.  It’s the art of capturing the moment, of imagination and free-wheeling creativity.  Artists in this show use a variety of media including photographs from different sources, original artwork, fabric, paint, words, colored pencil and so much more.  Reception begins on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 2-5 and the exhibit through November 6th.  Exhibit can be viewed Mon-Thurs 10AM-4PM, Friday, 10AM-2PM and Sunday 10AM-5PM.  For information or to schedule a visit, please call (213)884-4133 and ask for Elea.
