Pride in the Frontier: A Virtual Event for Young Professionals


Join Jewish National Fund-USA’s JNFuture community of young professionals ages 22-40 on Sunday, June 13, for its first-ever virtual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) pride event! Moderated by JNF-USA Associate Director Quentin Ozeri, the event will feature a panel of incredible speakers who are invaluable to the Israeli LGBTQ+ community including Gil Elias, CEO of the Be'er Sheva Pride House, a poet and a local activist in the southern LGBTQ+ community, as well as a language and sexuality researcher at the Hebrew language department at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Hadash Goldman, Co-Founder of MAKOM, a network focused on empowering and revitalizing towns and villages throughout Israel is a founding member of the LGBTQ+ center in Afula and is a Co-Founder and Resource Development Director of the Tarbut, an Israeli organization that supports low-income neighborhoods. Arnon Allouche serves as Manager for Communities’ House for Pride and Tolerance and previously worked in mental health rehabilitation, helping people with mental health disabilities to integrate into society.
