Memories of Kindness

Nevenka East European Folk Ensemble with special guests Yuval Ron Ensemble and Tzvetanka and Ivan Varimezovi present a special concert of Bulgarian and Jewish music, honoring the bravery and kindness of the Bulgarian citizens who saved 48,000 Jews from deportation to concentration camps during World War II. Performances will feature the gripping vocal harmonies and rhythms of Bulgarian women’s choral music, along with Ladino & Sephardic instrumental and vocal traditions.

Notes about the venue:
Vista Del Mar is a school campus. Smoking is not permitted on the property.
Food and drinks may not be brought into the theater, only water in non-glass containers.
