About Camp Max Straus:
Camp Max Straus is a non-profit, non-denominational camp and is owned and operated by Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles (JBBBSLA). JBBBSLA believes that all children should have the opportunity to experience camp regardless of their familys financial ability. Through our residential summer camp, weekend programs, wilderness backpacking trips, and mentorship activities, we provide over 1,500 underserved children each year with the tools, community, and support system requisite for success as they progress from elementary school to college.
