American Jewish Composers’ Responses to the Holocaust

How did composers who did not personally experience the Shoah commemorate and memorialize it in their own works? This concert of unique chamber music will explore this question, with Steve Reich’s Different Trains as the centerpiece. It will feature the Lyris Quartet. This event is made possible by the Lowell Milken Center for Music of American Jewish Experience at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
