*Beneath the Helmet is a coming-of-age story that profiles five Israeli high school graduates who are drafted into the army to defend their country.  For the first time ever, the Israeli military censors allowed the public exclusive access to film during training, showing first-hand the stories and experiences of young Israelis as they train to become paratroopers. At the age of 18, away from their homes, families, and friends, they undergo a demanding journey, revealing the core of who they are and who they want to be.
