Revitalizing the iconic CBS Broadcasting Studios campus, built in 1938, the 4.7-acre mixed-use media campus will feature 650,000 square feet of class A offices, indoor and outdoor collaborative spaces, walkable shopping and dining options, and classic urban living. In partnership with the Kor Group and Kelly Wearstler, who are leading the design of the 22-story luxury residential tower—which includes 200 apartments, four penthouses, and a resort-style pool and a social club—Proper Hospitality is leading the programming, design, and branding, offering a wide range of amenities that combine the warmth and comfort of home with the luxury and pedigree of a five-star hotel.

Brian De Lowe

As president and co-founder at Proper Hospitality, Brian De Lowe is responsible for overall corporate strategy and the conceptualization and development of the Proper and Avalon brands, and leads the sourcing and execution of new business and strategic partnerships. Brian is also a principal at the Kor Group, where he leads investment strategy and the sourcing and execution of all real estate acquisitions. Since 2004, Brian has successfully closed more than $1 billion of acquisitions and dispositions of lifestyle real estate assets, with a focus on multifamily and hospitality.

Proper Hospitality currently operates Avalon-branded hotels in Beverly Hills and Palm Springs. Proper-branded hotels and residences will begin opening in early 2016, with initial properties slated to open in emerging innovation districts in Hollywood, San Francisco, Downtown Los Angeles, Austin, and Santa Monica.
