Over 150 young adults immersed themselves in the diverse street food, culture, and vibrant atmosphere of Israel in honor of her 70th birthday. Get Shuk: The Global Mosaic of Israeli Street Food, took place at B/G/A Bar & Garden Annex in Culver City and was part of our ongoing Global Jewry series, dedicated to exploring the diverse richness of Judaism worldwide. The immersive experience explored the tastes of North Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, and featured over 10 local vendors including Jaffa, Palikao, and The Spice Way. Participants made couscous bowls, enjoyed chef demonstrations, sipped on Israeli wine and beer, and got to know cultural representatives from all three of these regions in this one-of-a-kind experience that brought the magic of the Shuk here to LA.
