Yesh Tikva #OneCandle Kickoff Infertility Awareness Shabbat

Please join us for a #OneCandle event for kickoff Infertility Awareness Shabbat, this special evening with Yesh Tikva aims to celebrate community, unity, and togetherness of women.

We will be creating our own #OneCandle which is an initiative of prayer that began 3 years ago in support of those facing fertility struggles. We will learn more about #OneCandle, a meaningful act of prayer. In a world full of darkness, let us unite to spread even more light together. The concept behind #OneCandle is that we ask that people leave a candle out each Friday night when they light their candles for the sabbath and take a few minutes to pray for those dreaming of growing their families. We offer them the opportunity to sign up and receive a list of 5 names of couples to pray for or they can pray for people they know. On the first Friday night after a miracle is born, we light the candle to celebrate. Together, let us shine a light on creativity while extending a hand of compassion and support to those facing infertility. We will have an artist lead us in this creative activity of painting our own candle.
