Toy and Book Drive puts “Community” in “Community Service.”

Last  week, The Federation concluded its 7th Annual Festival of Lights Toy and Book Drive. In collaboration with over 30 donating organizations and hundreds of generous individuals, we were able to collect and distribute over 6,000 toys and books! Working together as a community, we made the holiday season brighter for so many wonderful children and their families. The success of this drive is due to the help of all of the organizations and individuals involved, and we could not have done it without you.

The following agencies distributed the toys and books to their clients:

A Safe Place, Inc., Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Chai Lifeline Children’s Healthcare Services, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Coach for Kids, Families for Children, HaMercaz, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles, Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, SHA-I-LI, Tomchei Shabbos, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, and Working Dreams
