This June 4-12, join the Federation on Israel Unparalleled — a world-class tour of Israel featuring innovative cuisine, collectible wines, and astounding art. Learn more from our interview below with Harold and Amy Masor, two co-chairs of the upcoming trip.
Why did you decide to co-chair Israel Unparalleled?
We are committed to the Federation and its mission to ensure the Jewish future. One of the ways that the Federation does this is through its engagement with Israel. This particular mission will show a part of Israel that many American Jews are not familiar with. Israel is not only a hi-tech mecca, but also has developed first-rate cuisine, art, and wine. We wanted to share this exciting side of Israel with our Federation friends.
What are some of the exciting things you are looking forward to on the trip?
We will visit some wonderful boutique wineries, personal art collections, and outstanding food.
Why should others join you and your co-chairs on the trip?
We want to have other Federation donors enjoy the great cuisine, art, and wine of Israel.
Can you share with us a personal experience visiting Israel?
A year ago, Harold visited several boutique wineries with our son Elliot and was delighted to find that the Israeli wine was superior to the wine we have here in California. Harold wants to share this eye-opening experience — and others — with our group.
