Tomorrow, November 27th, is #GivingTuesday. A newly established nationwide day of giving – a day of generosity to follow those infamous days of spending, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We are proud to be an offiial partner of #GivingTuesday and you can participate by visiting our site on that day and making a generous donation to our Federation’s Annual Campaign to help Jews in need.
Our Annual Campaign enabled us to quickly move thousands of children in Israel out of harm’s way when the rockets were falling, while simultaneously providing assistance to the elderly and disabled.
Your gift to our Annual Campaign on Giving Tuesday will allow us to continue providing Emergency Cash Grants to local Jewish individuals and families facing economic hardship. Since we began this program, we’ve helped more than 5,500 families right here in Los Angeles. For Giving Tuesday, we’re aiming for 200 donations to help the poorest Jewish families in our community.
