Every day, people with disabilities in our Jewish family have to deal with exclusion. As a community, we can’t allow that to happen. That’s why our Federation is spearheading Inclusion Awareness Month (IAM). It’s part of a national effort to advocate for Jewish individuals with disabilities. Throughout February, we’re providing opportunities for you to be inspired, get involved and take action to help promote inclusion in our community. We need your help if we’re going to make sure everyone in our community gets the respect and assistance he or she deserves, while being able to fully participate in Jewish life.
It’s easy to make a difference – just go to our IAM page to sign our Inclusion Pledge and $1 will be donated to inclusive Jewish programming in our community!
When you click on the link, you’ll have access to all the details about Inclusion Awareness Month. The Jewish Federation believes that everyone in our Jewish community should have the opportunity to experience and celebrate our shared values, history and traditions.
Thanks for doing your part to make sure we are an inclusive community.
