Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund

Jewish Federation Los Angeles is accepting donations on behalf of the victims of Hurricane Sandy. We’ve all seen the footage of the extensive damage caused by massive flooding, high winds and fire. You can show the millions of people displaced, without power and in need of immediate assistance that our Los Angeles Jewish community cares about them.

Please join us in our efforts by making a donation now to help meet the immediate needs of the victims and their families.

You can also make a donation by calling (323) 761-8413, or by mail:

The Jewish Federation
Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund
6505 Wilshire Boulevard, Ste. 1000
Los Angeles, CA, 90048

100 percent of collected donations will be distributed to our network of partners in the affected areas and our Federation will absorb all administrative costs.  The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) Emergency Committee staff is in contact with Jewish communities in the affected regions to assess the local needs, and is coordinating with the Jewish Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (JVOAD) partners.

Watching the news footage of the storm and the damage it caused is heartbreaking. We mourn for all the victims and their loved ones, as well as everyone who has been hurt or displaced. That’s why in times of crisis, our Federation is there on our community’s behalf to make sure that people in urgent need are assisted immediately.

Please make a donation now.

Thank you for your compassion and support.
