Unmasked: Domestic Violence in the City of Angels

An important conversation about the state of domestic violence in Los Angeles and Jewish Family Service LA’s response to one of the most pressing issues of our time.

Domestic Violence can happen to anyone anywhere, no matter their gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, or economic status. For women and children, Domestic Violence is a leading cause of homelessness. Because of LA’s affordable housing shortage, many people experiencing abuse at home choose to remain in their relationships rather than face homelessness. JFS Hope’s services are a critical lifeline for thousands, but rising program costs and dwindling government funding make it necessary to raise awareness for JFS Hope in our community.
