REC Day of Giving: The Future of Giving Back
Join fellow REC members and families as we participate in a global day of service – Good Deeds Day on Sunday, April 11.
The Federation partners with various organizations serving those experiencing homelessness. On April 11th, you can directly support their work with your own hands. REC members and their families will create Welcome Home Kits for individuals and families moving from homelessness to self-sufficiency with the help of the St. Josephs Center in Venice. This is a great opportunity to get your children involved and pass down a spirit of giving to the next generation!
In conjunction with other Federation groups, we will hear from these organizations directly about the needs facing our community and how you can help. Afterwards, you will have an opportunity to network and schmooze w/ other REC members while you assemble, write messages and draw pictures for your kits.
After the program, you can deliver your Welcome Home Kit directly to the St. Joseph’s Center. Some Federation faces will be there to accept your deliveries via contactless drop off from 12:30-2:30 PM.
