The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles Community Engagement and Legal Divisions

The Jewish Federation is proud to present a private screening of Marshall, a film based on the early life of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. As a young attorney working on a case for the NAACP, he is partnered with Samuel Friedman, a young Jewish lawyer.  The film tells the story of two driven individuals who set the groundwork for the Civil Rights Movement to come. A small reception will take place before the screening and we will close with a Q&A with star, Josh Gad and co-writer, Michael Koskoff. This event is open to members of the Federation’s Community Engagement and Legal Divisions who have made a minimum gift of $180 in 2017.

RSVP to – Rebecca Webb, 323-761-8357, RWebb@JewishLA.org
