Then join YALA as we take over all of the 11:15am to 2:30pm volunteer slots at the 19th annual Gear Up for Camp Day on SUNDAY, JUNE 1 !

So what is Gear Up for Camp Day?
A day filled with fun activities, lunch, and handing out the necessary clothing, toiletries, and supplies for over 1,000 underserved kids who will be attending Jewish Big Brothers/Big Sisters of LA’s Camp Max Straus this summer.
The event can only be a success if we have lots of volunteers!
Some possible volunteer activities….
– Distributing camp supplies to the children
– Supervising activities such as arts and crafts and sports
– Serving lunch to ALL participants (volunteers included)
– Getting these kids excited for camp&.although they probably already are!!!!
