Croatian Righteous Among the Nations
A Photographic History
“Croatian Righteous Among the Nations” tells the story of the brave citizens of Croatia who, living under a local Nazi puppet Ustasha regime, resisted the evils of fascism and risked their lives to save Jews from murder and persecution.
The exhibit is dedicated to the 240th anniversary of the report by Count Franjo Patacic on the permanent settlement of Jews in Croatia, and the 170th anniversary of the approval by the Croatian-Hungarian parliament of the permanent settlement of Jews in their country.
