NA’AMAT MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of NAAMAT USA is to enhance the status of women and children in Israel and the United States as part of a worldwide progressive Jewish Womens organization. Its purpose is to help NAAMAT Israel provide educational and social services, including day care, vocational training, legal aid for women, absorption of new immigrants, community centers, and centers for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence.

NAAMAT USA advocates on issues relating to womens rights, the welfare of children, education and the United States- Israel relationship. NAAMAT USA also helps strengthen Jewish and Zionist life in communities throughout the United States.
