Shoulder to Shoulder: A Community Gathering in Support of the People of Israel
Our Los Angeles Jewish community is deeply connected to Israel and many individuals wish to show their support, love and concern for our Jewish homeland. That’s why we invite you to join us on Thursday, July 31st at Valley Beth Shalom for Shoulder to Shoulder: A Community Gathering in Support of the People of Israel.
Together, we’ll express our solidarity with prayers, songs and reflections from a host of rabbis including Valley Beth Shaloms Senior Rabbi Ed Feinstein, who just returned from Israel. We’ll also have a presentation from Chairman of the Board Les Bider and Federation President & CEO Jay Sanderson, who are currently on the ground in the South of Israel, witnessing how our Federations life-changing work is providing relief and respite to Israelis in harms way.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to connect with others in our community who share your steadfast support and compassion for Israel especially during this challenging time.
