Cedars-Sinai Coach for Kids
Cedars-Sinai COACH for Kids is a landmark mobile medical and case-management program that provides free primary and preventive healthcare services for low-income and medically underserved children and their families in Los Angeles County. Operating under the belief that a healthy child does not exist without a healthy family, this multi-component program also offers social services assessments, plans and referrals for each family. Since 1994, COACH for Kids has treated more than 145,000 people free of charge and currently provides a 24-hour staff contact system and a regular, established visit schedule.
We provide life-improving services that help the people of Los Angeles live with dignity and exercise self-determination. We believe in and strive for a more compassionate Los Angeles where no one has to navigate life alone.
King’s Care — A Safe Place, Inc.
The Mission of Kings’ Care-A Safe Place, Inc. is to reduce the impact of homelessness, substance misuse, mental illness, criminal behavior, and its associated problems in the community. We offer sober transitional and sober living houses designed to lessen the social cost of these disorders by promoting wellness and drug free lifestyles. Our philosophy is focused on the 3 “R’s, Re-entry, Recovery and Reunification.
The Double Play Toy Gemach is a division of TomcheiLA. It’s mission is to provide brand new toys to hundreds of children each year prior to Jewish Holidays such as Chanukah and Pesach.
Mission Statement: Sharsheret, a national non-profit organization, improves the lives of Jewish women and families living with or at increased genetic risk for breast or ovarian cancer through personalized support and saves lives through educational outreach. To increase positive networking and to provide various community outreach resources for those in need of food, housing, employment or any social services including but not limited to women, children and seniors.
Working Dreams, A non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of Foster Care Children in Los Angeles County.
1736 Family Crisis Center
1736 Family Crisis Center is dedicated to serving vulnerable community members in the greater Los Angeles area. Its mission is comprehensively to help children, women, men, and families through crises, including domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, joblessness, poverty, human trafficking, suicide ideation and attempts, addiction, post-traumatic stress, and emotional and life-survival challenges, thereby improving their prospects for long-term housing, psychological wellness, financial stability, and success. The agency serves approximately 6,000 individuals directly through in-depth residential and nonresidential programs, and 20,000 through educational and street outreach.
Friendship Circle LA
The mission of Friendship Circle of Los Angeles (FCLA) is 1) to provide Jewish children who have special needs with a full range of social, recreational, educational and Judaic experiences 2) to provide their parents with respite and support: 3) to enrich, inspire, and motivate Jewish teenagers through sharing of themselves with others.
Hollenbeck & Miracle on 1st Street
The Hollenbeck Youth Center and Inner-City Games Los Angeles creates opportunities for Inner-City Youth to participate in athletic, educational, cultural and community enrichment programs: building confidence and self esteem in today’s youth for a brighter tomorrow. Miracle on 1st Street provides assistance during the holidays to the most needy families in Los Angeles, in particular Boyle Heights. For most of our clients, these resources serve as their sole means during the holiday.

Valley Friendship Circle
The Valley Friendship Circle provides assistance and support to the families of children with special needs. In addition to helping those in need, the Valley Friendship Circle enriches its vast network of teenage volunteers by enabling them to reap the rewards of selfless giving.
Pathways LA strengthens low-income and vulnerable working families, promotes high quality early care and education services for children of all abilities, develops knowledgeable early care providers and promotes economically resilient communities.
Aviva believes every child and every family in our Los Angeles community deserves the chance for a brighter future. We provide compassionate support, therapeutic services, and guidance to at-risk children and families.
