JCCRT – Jewish Community Crisis Response Team: Who Shows Up After the Ambulance Leaves?

The Jewish Community Crisis Response Team (JCCRT) in Los Angeles provides “mental health first aid” after a crisis in the Jewish community. Comprised of volunteers, JCCRT offers support, counseling referrals, and support groups to help individuals and communities heal after traumatic events. Inclusion: Jojo and his Favorite Place

Inclusion is celebrated at Friendship Circle, a community that values and includes individuals with disabilities. Jojo, a nonverbal teenager with special needs, feels loved and appreciated at Friendship Circle’s programs. The teen volunteers, now his peers, make him feel special and loved. Our Community Made a Difference on Mitzvah Day

Join us as our community comes together on Mitzvah Day to make a difference. Over 130 volunteers participated in various projects throughout Los Angeles, including a heart-warming Senior Prom and serving lunch at Union Rescue Mission. We also sorted and categorized 20,000 pounds of food for JFS SOVA’s High Holiday food drive.
