The Jewish Community Crisis Response Team (JCCRT) in Los Angeles provides “mental health first aid” after a crisis in the Jewish community. Comprised of volunteers, JCCRT offers support, counseling referrals, and support groups to help individuals and communities heal after traumatic events. Super Sunday 2015 was a huge success, raising over $1.2 million for our Federation. With a rockin’ band and delicious breakfast, the event was filled with positive energy. We heard inspiring stories about how our Federation’s initiatives are making a difference in our community, and celebrated the dedication of our volunteers and community members.

Over 130 volunteers participated in various projects throughout Los Angeles, including a heart-warming Senior Prom and serving lunch at Union Rescue Mission. We also sorted and categorized 20,000 pounds of food for JFS SOVA’s High Holiday food drive.
