Super Sunday 2015 was a huge success, raising over $1.2 million for our Federation. With a rockin’ band and delicious breakfast, the event was filled with positive energy. We heard inspiring stories about how our Federation’s initiatives are making a difference in our community, and celebrated the dedication of our volunteers and community members.
Creating an inclusive community for people with disabilities is a top priority for the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. They believe that all people deserve equal access and opportunities in society. Two recent initiatives, a Self-Advocacy Conference in Jerusalem and a workshop in Los Angeles, highlight the importance of empowering individuals with disabilities and promoting change. By transforming attitudes and removing barriers, inclusive communities can be created year-round.
