Transforming the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles: After almost 100 years, the Federation recognized the need for a thoughtful and deliberate transformation. They redefined their mission and revised their mission statement, putting Jewish values and community front and center. They embraced a new business model and focused on building strong relationships with donors and partners. This transformation has opened up exciting new partnerships and empowered them to make a significant impact on the Jewish community.
Tour de Summer Camps was a huge success, raising nearly $500,000 to help kids experience the magic of Jewish summer camp. Super Sunday brought together volunteers from the Jewish community in support of our Federation. Over 300 people raised $1,300,900 for our community. We also had over 100 volunteers participating in various service projects throughout Los Angeles. Special thanks to our Super Sunday Co-Chairs. Our Federation’s annual Super Sunday was a huge success thanks to our 475 volunteers who raised money on behalf of our life-changing work or joined us for community service projects throughout Los Angeles. We raised a total of $1,942,736 from 1511 donors – thanks to the 225 callers who hit the phones at our Federation headquarters on Wilshire and at Temple Judea in Tarzana!
