THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF GREATER LOS ANGELES LAUNCHES CAMPUS IMPACT NETWORK TO ADDRESS ANTISEMITISM ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles launches Campus Impact Network to address antisemitism on college campuses. The program aims to support Jewish college students in LA, empower student leaders, promote a positive view of Israel, and strengthen advocacy efforts. CSI Safety & Security Conference

The CSI Safety & Security Conference brought together professionals from the Jewish community and law enforcement sector. Keynote speaker Elan Carr highlighted the threats faced by the Jewish community in Europe and emphasized the importance of preparedness. Break-out sessions provided valuable skills and knowledge for emergency situations. The Community Security Initiative works to ensure the safety of all Jewish institutions in Los Angeles. Women’s Philanthropy Gains Tools to Promote Israel Advocacy

Women’s Philanthropy gains tools to promote Israel advocacy, combatting rise in anti-Israel and anti-Semitic activities on college campuses and in communities. Leaders met to discuss concerns and gain knowledge on combating aggressive behavior. Importance of sharing personal connections to Israel and building relationships emphasized. Focus on coalition building and forming alliances to shift negative narrative. Support for Jewish students to become allies and empower through social justice causes. Federation initiatives in place to support Jewish students and promote stronger ties on campus.

Super Sunday 2015: We Came, We Learned, We Rocked the Phones

Super Sunday 2015 was a huge success, raising over $1.2 million for our Federation. With a rockin’ band and delicious breakfast, the event was filled with positive energy. We heard inspiring stories about how our Federation’s initiatives are making a difference in our community, and celebrated the dedication of our volunteers and community members.
