This June, we invite rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to join us virtually for Teens for Tikkun: A Summer Program to Learn/Advocate/Illuminate! For 3+ weeks, teens will learn about the most current and critical issues facing our local and global world. Guided by accomplished Jewish nonprofit professionals, participants’ awareness will be raised on a variety of issues from food injustice to environmental concerns to diversity, equity, and inclusion gaps. Daily virtual workshops that integrate art and culture into the learning, reflection, and socialization will provide the basis of the series, and service-learning credit will be offered. Advocacy skills will be developed, connections will be formed, and plans for change will be made — we can’t wait!
