This October, join NuRoots, the Jewish Federation, and Aviva Family and Children’s Services and show up for local families in need. Aviva provides resources and services to help folks safely and confidently get back on their feet, and together, with your help, we’re sourcing and packaging wellness kits to provide support and stress relief for our neighbors going through housing and other transitions.
 
From stress balls and fidget spinners to art supplies, facial masks, and hygiene products, we’re asking our volunteers (that’s you!) to create and customize these kits and to order what’s comfortable for you—and to add your own note of encouragement to your recipient(s). On October 19, we’ll gather together on Zoom to assemble our kits, see our community in action, and learn more about local at-risk populations and how we and Aviva are helping to serve them.

A full list of suggested items to order (to spark your creativity) will be sent to everyone who registers. Finished kits can be dropped off at Aviva, at 1783 El Cerrito Place, Los Angeles, 90028, on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
