Our civic engagement programs increase community knowledge, improve the quality and breadth of democratic discourse, increase participant effectiveness in local government, and build connections and understanding between the Jewish community and other communities in Los Angeles.
CIVruta programs convene emerging leaders from across Los Angeles for civic learning about how to bring the democratic values of diversity, inclusion, and dignity to service on public boards and commissions.
Rautenberg New Leaders Project (NLP)
A yearlong cohort program, NLP trains and engages our city’s emerging young Jewish civic leaders to address our most pressing challenges.
The Civic Partnerships program seeks to partner with non-profit organizations in Los Angeles that have demonstrated success in addressing and repairing systemic inequities.
To connect the Jewish community with hands-on volunteer opportunities across our city, we offer community service opportunities that provide volunteers with meaningful and impactful projects.
