Spirit of the Seven Species


Thirty people celebrated the holiday of Tu B’shvat over delicious Israeli staples and themed craft cocktails at Jaffa in WeHo. With the help of an interactive dinner guide, guests honored the Jewish tradition of eating the Seven Species of the ancient world (wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranate, olive, and date honey) by exploring the personality traits that each species represents. The evening inspired community members to think deeply about which traits they want to embody and how they interact with nature and the environment in LA.
