South Bay Council

The Jewish Federation South Bay Council is responsible for community development and fundraising in the South Bay, an area extending from Westchester to San Pedro with an estimated Jewish population of 40,000. The South Bay Council plays an important role in the delivery of vital human services to people in need throughout the South Bay community. The successful completion of this work relies on the integration of financial, human and organizational resources within the South Bay Jewish community. In addition to their very generous financial support, donors volunteer hundreds of hours each year to support the programming and community service objectives of the South Bay Council.

There are many opportunities for people who would like to become involved in their local Jewish community. Some of the active committees of the South Bay Council include: Jewish Festival, KOREH L.A., Mitzvah Day, Senior Visitation, Super Sunday, Teen Programming, Annual Campaign and Young Couples.
